Your Oral Health Can Affect Your Joints

Studies suggest a link between gum disease and arthritis; taking care of your teeth and gums may protect your joints.

An adage popular in dentist offices goes like this: “Ignore your teeth and they’ll go away.” And by not taking care of your teeth and gums, you run the risk of periodontitis, which can cause tooth loss.
