Headaches can literally be a pain in the neck when you have arthritis. For those with osteoarthritis (OA) of the spine, neck pain can be referred to the head, triggering migraine or tension-type headache-pain that is often treated with chronic use of medications. Even if you dont have spinal OA, headaches are a common complaint for many. In fact, its been estimated that 47 percent of adults experience headache at least once a year.
