New Surgical Procedures Relieve Hand, Wrist Pain Non-invasive treatments often work—but when they don’t, these recent advances in hand and wrist surgery are worth considering. Approximately 20 percent of adults over the age of 55 suffer from symptomatic hand arthritis.
