Have you ever wondered if certain foods could be triggering your arthritis? If so, your healthcare provider or dietitian may suggest an elimination diet. Food sensitivities are common and can trigger inflammation and other symptoms. An elimination diet is a temporary change in your eating habits to eliminate some foods or food groups for a few weeks and see if your symptoms improve without them. Some foods have been shown to be more likely to cause inflammation or symptoms (see “What You Should Know” ).
