If you have chronic back pain that is accompanied by numbness and tingling in your legs and the symptoms are worse when youre standing and walking and relieved when sitting or bending forward, you may have spinal stenosis. This is a narrowing of the spinal canal, which puts pressure on nerves and can cause pain.
