Alarming new statistics underline the importance of understanding the connection between arthritis and diabetes.

Numbers dont lie, and the figures attached to how many Americans have diabetes enforce what is undeniably true: The condition is becoming a common thread for an increasing amount of the population. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) calculates that one in 11 Americans (more than 29 million total) are living with diabetes-and this number doesnt include the estimated seven million who are unaware they have the condition.
