It’s autumn, and if you have a yard or garden, it’s probably time to do some yard work — raking leaves, pruning brushes and trees, and cleaning up garden beds to get them ready for winter. Like many tasks in the garden, these often require bending, lifting, gripping and other movements that can be challenging for people with pain in their back, knees, hips, hands and other joints.
