Overly stressed tendons can become inflamed, thickened or torn.


What do tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, Achilles’ tendinopathy, ­plantar fasciitis and rotator cuff tendinopathy have in common? They all involve tendons or surrounding tissue (­fascia). “These conditions, which occur across the body, seem different, but the way we ­manage them is pretty similar,” says ­Cleveland Clinic physician Dominic King, DO.
