Eye conditions can accompany rheumatoid arthritis

The connection between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and eye conditions might seem odd, but the cornea and the sclera (the white of the eye) have some of the same proteins as your joints. This could explain why your eyes are also at risk for RA complications. They can be affected in a variety of ways.
