Questions for your surgeon....NSAIDs and acid reducers

0

Q. I know I need to have a hip replacement, but I’m nervous about having surgery. What questions should I ask my doctor beforehand?

A

Whenever you have surgery of any kind, it’s important to know what to expect and to be as prepared as possible. Your surgeon and other members of the healthcare team will provide you with information. Don’t hesitate to ask any additional questions you might have. Write your questions down ahead of time, and take notes during your visit. It can be helpful to have a family member or friend along with you who also hears the information.
