Treating Overpronation

A collapsing arch can lead to problems. They can be prevented.


As you walk, your foot naturally moves from side to side, rolling slightly inward with each step. This is called pronation. Some people have too pronounced a pronation, caused by flatter-than-normal feet. Over time, this may cause problems.
