Increased risk of cardiovascular disease from NSAIDs... Radiofrequency ablation for back pain

I recently read that taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Advil, for just a few weeks could increase my risk of heart attack and stroke. Is it safe to take these drugs, or should I stay away from them?
