Steroids: Pain Relief—At A Price

Corticosteroids are effective in treating arthritis inflammation and discomfort, but make sure you take the right dose to minimize side effects.

Corticosteroid drugs are not unlike the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s famous little girl, the one with the curl in the middle of her forehead. When they are good, they are very good but when they are bad, they are horrid.
